A Blog Face Lift + 28 Week Update

So you may have noticed a few changes around here. I decided recently that this little blog needed a bit of a face lift so I reached out to my bloggy BFF, Lanesha, who blogs over at We are the Tabbs. Need a new blog design?? Give her a shout! She's a gem to work with and does a fab job! You can check out her work here.

Any hoo, on to my 28 week update. Can y'all believe I'm already 28 weeks?! Just 12 weeks to go! Seriously can't believe it.

28 WEEK UPDATE

Due date?
September 16th

How far along?
28 weeks + 1 day! Only 12 weeks to go!

How big is baby?
Baby may weigh as much as 2 1/2 pounds and is about 14 inches long. She can now open and close her eyes and sense changes in light.

Cravings?
I'm pretty much eating everything. No food aversions really. My current favorites are peanut butter milkshakes from Sonic and watermelon. So glad to have a healthy craving because those shakes have to be AT LEAST 800 calories.

How I feel?
Still feeling good with the exception of some serious indigestion. The indigestion set in about 3 weeks ago. Let's just say that I keep my bottle of Tums close by at all times. I hear indigestion is an indication that the baby will have a lot of hair. Guess we'll see!

Showing?
Oh yeah. Found out that I've gained 25 pounds total at my last OB appointment. I hear that's "normal" but I have 12 weeks to go for crying out loud. I should probably start taking walks in the evening to burn off some of the hundreds of calories I'm putting in my mouth everyday. ;)

Movement?
YES! She started kicking at about 25 weeks. I was with my hubby the first time I felt it. I thought I felt a kick but I wasn't sure so I put his hand on my stomach and as soon as I did, she kicked again. He was SO excited! It was so fun to get to experience that for the first time together. And she's been turning flips in there ever since. She's a busy little girl already!

Gender?
Baby Webb is a girl! Read all about the gender reveal here.

Looking forward to?
Just meeting her. And kissing her.

Sleeping OK?
Yep, still sleeping pretty well.

Next Doctor's Appointment?
This Friday, June 28th.

Prayer Requests?
For me and my baby girl - just for a continued healthy pregnancy. Thank you, loves.

Just for fun, I thought it would be cool to put together a side-by-side progression of the pregnancy so far. The 4 week shot is especially funny because I had no idea I was pregnant at that point. I actually found out about 2 weeks later. I dub the 9 week picture a "miracle pic" because I was SO sick during that time and taking OOTD pics was the LEAST of my worries. And as you can see, I took a break from taking pics until about 16 weeks.

I decided I didn't want to bombard you guys with weekly updates...and frankly, I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up with weekly updates, so I've been trying to post an update every 4 weeks starting at 16 weeks. It's pretty cool to see how much my sweet baby has grown in the last 28 weeks!

Check out past updates!
