Sequins, in my opinion, is a fabric that is appropriate any time of year - but there is an extra special place for it during the holidays! If there is one time of year to go full glam and over the top with sequins, the holidays is it! It can be dressed up or down, layered with a blazer, and/or paired with different textures (like velvet and leather) and patterns (like tartan plaid). Sequins is a bold + bright fabric so a lot of style influencers will advise NOT going too crazy with textures but, honey let me tell you - if you want to go head to toe sequins, you won't get any push back from me! Do you, boo!
With this outfit, I didn't want to stop at the sequins - I tapped into my inner most sparkle and decided to pair this super festive sequins jacket with faux leather leggings AND leopard booties. I mean, come on - life is too short to NOT take fashion risks, right?
