40 Week Update

40 WEEK UPDATE

Due date?
Today!

How far along?
40 Weeks

How big is baby?
According to BabyCenter.com: It's hard to say for sure how big your baby will be, but the average newborn weighs about 7 1/2 pounds (about the size of a small pumpkin) and is about 20 inches long.

Cravings?
Sugar-free popsicles and anything lemon-flavored

How I feel?
My energy has returned the past couple weeks. Lots of cleaning going on around here (a.k.a. nesting). I woke up around 5:30 in the morning on Saturday and felt the urge to do laundry...by 7:30, all of the laundry was washed, dried, folded, and put away. ;)

Showing?
Per my last OB appointment, I've gained about 44 pounds.

Movement?
Lots of movement. She's very active in there.

Gender?
Baby Webb is a girl! Read all about the gender reveal here.

Looking forward to?
Getting her home and settled. And starting our new life as parents...a full-time family of 3 and part-time family of 4.

Sleeping OK?
Yes, still sleeping pretty well. Which I know is a blessing especially at this stage of pregnancy. I woke up about 4 times last night to use the bathroom but I usually fall back to sleep pretty quickly afterward.

Next Doctor's Appointment?
Well if I don't go into labor today, my next appointment is tomorrow, September 17th.

Prayer Requests?
For me and my baby girl - for a healthy and speedy delivery.

For heart, mind, and spirit as we mentally, physically and spiritually prepare for the responsibility of raising a child.
