To Trend...Or Not to Trend?

...that is the question.

Before we get to this week's topic, let's do a little recap:
And now I bring you the final topic of {To Trend...Or Not to Trend?}:
Trends That Took Me Awhile To Adopt...
But Now I'm a Believer

{1} Faux Fur.
To be honest, I'm still on the fence on this one.
Faux fur almost found itself on my Trends I Adore...Just Not For Me list.
Probably because I tried it once and failed miserably.
I'm not going to give up on it just yet.
Nope. Not yet.

{2} Ankle Strap Flats.
Whoever came up with the idea of throwing a strap on a basic flat...is a genius.
Adding a strap to a pair of flats instantly dresses them up.
Love my gray pair I bought for dirt cheap at Old Navy a couple months ago.
Wore them last here.

{3} Tribal / Ikat / Western Print.
Such a fun print. So fun.
And kind of has a classic feel to it.
Bought this fab tribal print sweater at a local boutique recently. And love it.

{4} Faux Leather Skirt.
I might sound like I'm contradicting myself here.
Considering that I have sworn off leather leggings.
But a skirt is different, in my opinion.
Unlike the leggings, the skirt doesn't make my legs look like ham hocks. ;)
My leather skirt made its first appearance on our vacay back in September.

What trends took you awhile to adopt/love?

That's a wrap folks....hope you enjoyed this little series!

  7. I am really loving the theme/design of your blog. Do you ever
run into any browser compatibility issues? A handful of my
blog readers have complained about my site not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Firefox.
Do you have any ideas to help fix this issue?
